Pit Boss Heat Deflector Modification:

This universal heavy duty stainless steel heat baffle diffuser fits Traeger, Pit Boss Series Pellet Grills (NOT ALL), Z Grill, Camp Chef, and many more pellet grills. It is a replacement for part numbers BCA012, BCA-012, and 37721001.

The Pit Boss Heat Deflector Modification fits the following Pit Boss models: Austin XL (except the New Onyx Austin XL, as this mod is not needed), Pro 1100, Pro 1150 (all models), Laredo 1000, Rancher XL, Pro Series, Charleston, Navigator, and Sportsman 1100 (will NOT fit 820). It also fits the Traeger Pellet Smoker Grill Models - Traeger Pro Series 34, Pro Series 22, Ridgeland 572, Texas, Mesa 22, Texas Elite 34, Texas Elite, Texas Pro, Eastwood 22, Renegade Pro, Pro 20, Century 22, Century 34, Eastwood 34, Heartland, Lil Pig, Lil Tex Elite 22, Lonestar 20, Lonestar, Longhorn Steer, Renegade Elite 20, Lil Tex Limited Edition, Texas Limited Edition, and Timberline 1300 DC.

Please note that if your grill's serial number starts with 07C (BBQ07C), the heat baffle will not work.

The Pit Boss Heat Deflector Modification serves the following functions: - It allows your controller/temperature probe to read the actual barrel temperatures instead of the air directly from the fire pot, resulting in less temperature swings. - It improves the grate temperatures from left to right. - It reduces the amount of fly ash and pellet dust.

The Traeger BCA012 Heat Diffuser Dimension is 13'' L x 11'' W x 4 3/4'' H. It is made of solid, heavy-duty stainless steel material that is thick and sturdy, not prone to rusting, and can withstand higher temperatures without warping. It is heavier than the original.

This modification is not suitable for the following models: New Onyx Austin XL, PB820Sportsman, PB700T1, Competition Series 1600/1250 (PB1250CS/PB1600CS), Savannah, and Lockhart Platinum (as there is no need for it).
